Where Import and Export of almost every cargo is concerned, an efficient and reliable road freight service is critical to ensure door-to-door delivery. PBS works with the best companies and has a reputation for reliability of delivery, including full Customs import and export clearance and documentation.

We serve all destinations within Europe and beyond, including countries in the Eastern Block. Using our own feeder vehicles we will collect direct from your premises to feed into the many frequent trailer services leaving for Europe, all at extremely competitive prices.

Full Loads

At PBS we have a fleet of vehicles that travels anywhere within Europe should you have urgent consignments. From small courier vans to 40ft trailers, we prepare all the necessary paperwork for customs and ensure the smoothest and quickest movement possible.

Customs

Customs clearance can be arranged at EC and non-EC country borders and we help with all documentation requirements.

Groupage

We also cater for the non-urgent consignments that can travel within a groupage service.

CT Guarantee

For goods in transit from point of departure we can arrange easy, trouble-free onward transhipment to the point of delivery. As one of the few agents holding a full European Community Transit Bond (CT Guarantee) we organise transhipments from all UK air and sea ports.

Dangerous Goods

Latest security measures mean that sending dangerous goods requires professional expertise. Many people are unaware that staff must undertake a five day 'Dangerous Goods' course and examination before they are allowed to undertake this work and our fully qualified staff are capable of dealing with all types of dangerous goods such explosives, chemicals, batteries and all forms of restricted articles

Road Vehicles

We operate a fleet of road vehicles comprising courier vans, Transits, side-loading Luton head, tail lift and 40ft articulated vehicles.

Transport

We own and operate our own fleet of vehicles, so are not dependent upon other hauliers to deliver on time! From a small van to a 40ft trailer we will transport your goods safely and efficiently. Every one of our vehicles has satellite navigation, which speaks for itself - no more lost drivers calling for directions! Transport does not have to be part of your import or export plans, we undertake courier and haulage work for our clients irrespective of origin or destination.

For awkward shipments where lifting facilities are a problem, we have a custom made tail-lift vehicle capable of lifting up to 1000kg and transporting almost 3000kg.

We also have two side-loading vehicles, one of which is tailor made for the transport of aircraft engines.

Same day

We deliver and collect to all UK destinations, including Same Day deliveries using dedicated vehicles and overnight Groupage services.

Heathrow and Gatwick Daily Runs

Security passes are now mandatory at all major airports and so we operate a Gatwick and Heathrow Daily Run, allowing customers to deliver to our own premises at either location in the knowledge that delivery and documentation will all be efficiently managed by our staff.
